Volunteer Safety Ministry Team Member in Missouri, USA

About the Role

This is a volunteer position focused on greeting attendees and ensuring safety during events, particularly world conferences. Flexible availability is appreciated to support team goals.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome people of all ages from around the world.
• Observe attendees and notify managers of suspicious activity or individuals in need.
• Remain aware of who enters the premises and provide directions or respond to safety needs.
• Report medical or safety concerns to safety team managers.
• Learn and follow safety plans and protocols.
• Serve on assignment for up to two hours between break times.
• Communicate clearly and follow instructions.
• Assist at events throughout the year, with increased need during world conferences.

Requirements

• Attend a one-day, eight-hour training to equip you with the knowledge and skills needed to serve effectively.
• Complete Registered Youth Worker/Anti-harassment Training within 30 days of starting (required annually thereafter).
• Willingness to listen, communicate clearly, and follow instructions.
• Flexible availability to support team goals, though not required for every event or day of longer events.
