About the role
Primary Children's Hospital (Salt Lake) is looking for individuals to help provide a healing environment by sharing their Musical Talents with our patients, families and staff.
Responsibilities
- Play for a one hour shift once a week
- Depending on the instrument you will play, perform in the Main Lobby or on the 3rd Floor lobby
- Bring your own sheet music (a music stand is available for volunteer use)
- For approved string and woodwind instruments: bring the instrument in/out with you for each shift (a piano and a harp are available onsite)
- Choose music fitting for the hospital environment
- Be comfortable playing in public
Qualifications
- At least 14 years old
- Able to commit to 6 months of volunteering
- Have public performance experience
- Have enough music to perform for one hour at a time
