Volunteer - Music PCH Salt Lake

About the role

Primary Children's Hospital (Salt Lake) is looking for individuals to help provide a healing environment by sharing their Musical Talents with our patients, families and staff.

Responsibilities

• Play for a one hour shift once a week
• Depending on the instrument you will play, perform in the Main Lobby or on the 3rd Floor lobby
• Bring your own sheet music (a music stand is available for volunteer use)
• For approved string and woodwind instruments: bring the instrument in/out with you for each shift (a piano and a harp are available onsite)
• Choose music fitting for the hospital environment
• Be comfortable playing in public

Qualifications

• At least 14 years old
• Able to commit to 6 months of volunteering
• Have public performance experience
• Have enough music to perform for one hour at a time
