PCH Salt Lake Volunteer- Sophie's Place Music
About the role
Volunteer Description: Unpaid volunteer contributing time to Intermountain Healthcare in various roles. The Expressive Therapies Department at Primary Children’s Hospital is looking for musicians to help in Sophie’s Place! Sophie Barton was a music volunteer at Primary Children’s Hospital. In 2010, she sadly passed away due to an undiagnosed heart condition. Due to her love for music and the role her family saw music play within Primary Children’s Hospital, her family partnered with the Forever Young Foundation to create “Sophie’s Place.” Sophie’s Place is a room in the hospital designed specifically for music-making.
