What You'll Do Write back-cover copy, book descriptions, and promotional blurbsDraft press releases and pitch media outlets, bloggers, or podcasts for coverageCreate or support social media content around book launchesIdentify relevant audiences, communities, or influencers for each titleTrack and report on marketing efforts and their impactCollaborate with the team to plan launch timelines and campaigns Who You Are Strong writing skills, especially persuasive/marketing copyFamiliar with book marketing, publicity, or general content marketingCreative thinker who can identify unique angles for each book's audienceComfortable with social media platforms and/or media outreachPrior marketing, PR, or publicity experience a plus What You'll Gain Marketing/publicity credit and portfolio samplesReal-world experience promoting published booksFlexible, remote volunteering
