About the role

The Volunteer Manager oversees all volunteer activities and engagement at the McKamey Animal Center, ensuring a respectful and cooperative environment. They recruit, onboard, and train new volunteers, provide necessary tools and support, participate in events, and foster a supportive relationship between volunteers and staff.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, onboard, and train new volunteers
• Ensure volunteers have the tools, information, and support needed to perform tasks
• Participate in all volunteer-related events and activities
• Foster a supportive relationship between volunteers and staff

• Face of McKamey for volunteers both inside and outside the Center
