Volunteer, Learn to Play Hockey

About the role

The Learn To Play Hockey Volunteer is responsible for assisting the on ice instructor during ice classes for all levels and providing a fun and safe environment for participants ages 4 to 17 years old.

Responsibilities

• Able to ice skate
• Understand the principles, practice, and techniques of recreational hockey
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with fellow employees, community organizations, and the public
• Handle participants, team managers, and/or coaches under difficult game situations

Requirements

• At least eighteen (18) years of age

Qualifications

Our Ideal Candidate must have:

• Basic understanding of how the game of hockey is played
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
