What You'll Do Create original illustrations, diagrams, or graphics based on manuscript contentCollaborate with the writer and designer to match art style to the book's tone and audienceRevise artwork based on feedback from the editorial and design teamDeliver final art files in formats ready for layout (per designer's specs)Maintain a consistent visual style across a single book (or series, if applicable) Who You Are Strong illustration portfolio (digital or traditional media)Able to adapt your style to fit different projects and audiencesComfortable taking creative direction and feedbackReliable with deadlines, especially for multi-illustration projectsExperience illustrating for children's books, nonfiction, or educational content a plus What You'll Gain Illustration credit on published booksPortfolio pieces from real, published projectsCreative collaboration with writers and designersFlexible, remote volunteering
