Overview
This is a volunteer opportunity provided by Taproot Foundation, a nonprofit creating social change through pro bono connections. We're looking for a pro bono consultant to create reusable boilerplate grant proposal templates tailored for corporate foundations and family foundations.
Responsibilities
- Create reusable boilerplate grant proposal templates tailored for corporate foundations and family foundations.
- Templates will be adaptable for our programs and include clear sections and language volunteers and staff can customize.
- Specifics (number of templates and exact sections) will be provided during scoping.
- Help us pursue corporate and family foundation funding to grow our pro bono design services and in-kind donations, strengthening nonprofit environments and expanding the meaningful design support we offer to community partners.
- Collaborate with the pro bono consultant through regular check-ins, provide necessary context during interviews, and review drafts promptly so templates can be implemented into our fundraising process.
Requirements
- Experience in creating grant proposal templates for corporate and family foundations.
- Strong understanding of nonprofit environments and design services.
- Ability to work collaboratively and meet deadlines.
Qualifications
- Proven track record in creating effective grant proposal templates.
- Excellent communication skills to work with both volunteers and staff.
