About the role
We are seeking a Volunteer Grant Research Specialist to identify and track funding opportunities that align with our programs, especially in housing, reentry, and community support.
Responsibilities
- Research grant opportunities at the federal, state, and local level
- Identify funding related to reentry, housing, mental health, and community programs
- Track deadlines, requirements, and eligibility criteria
- Build and maintain a structured grant pipeline (Zoho or shared system)
- Organize opportunities by priority and readiness
- Share consistent updates with the team on new opportunities
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with grant research or nonprofit funding (preferred)
- Strong online research and organizational skills
- Ability to track and manage multiple opportunities
- Familiarity with grants.gov or similar platforms (a plus)
- Interest in housing, reentry, or social impact work
