About the Role

The Animal Cause is assembling multidisciplinary volunteer teams to design, build, and strengthen innovative services that support animals, shelters, rescues, and communities. Rather than filling isolated roles, we're bringing together people with diverse backgrounds to collaboratively build lasting systems that can grow and evolve over time. Every volunteer joins a team, and every team builds something that outlives any one individual.

This is a volunteer leadership role with a time commitment of approximately 5–10 hours per week (flexible). Location is remote, with U.S. applicants preferred.

Purpose

Maintain and grow The Animal Cause's digital presence.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow the organization’s presence on LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram
• Maintain and update the website and blog
• Develop and distribute newsletters
• Optimize content for SEO and track analytics
• Plan and manage a content calendar
