Job Description Development

We are seeking a skilled individual with HR or recruitment experience to partner with us to clarify and strengthen how we define and communicate key roles in our nonprofit.

We will focus on three roles:

  • Define clear, measurable outcomes for each role.
  • Identify the essential skills and competencies for each role’s daily work and long-term impact.
  • Develop detailed outlines of each position’s core responsibilities and required skills, tailored to the unique needs and mission of our nonprofit.
  • Write or revise job descriptions that emphasize demonstrated experience and practical accomplishments, prioritizing real-world skills over formal education.

Support Provided

  • Assign a point of contact to provide relevant context and ensure steady progress.
  • Share our current job descriptions, org charts, and other relevant documentation.
  • Connect you with key team members and managers for deeper insights.
  • Provide background on our organization and team, and outline what we need from new hires, volunteers, or board members right now.
  • Set a project timeline together and schedule regular check-ins for clear communication and progress.
