Volunteer Communications and Storytelling Coordinator (Remote - United States)
About the Organization
Beyond Nations is a U.S.-based nonprofit organization empowering communities in rural Uganda by breaking the cycle of poverty through education, medical assistance, vocational training, and holistic community outreach. We serve marginalized and under-resourced communities, including orphaned children, impoverished families, and unemployed parents, with a mission to create a brighter future where individuals lead self-sustaining lives.
Our core programs include:
- Child Education and Scholarships: Integrating academic learning with vocational skills, talent development, sports, music, drama, and spiritual growth at Pleroma Christian School, where students receive daily meals, materials, and uniforms.
- Medical Outreach: Partnering with local medical missions to provide essential healthcare services to children and families.
- Vocational Skills Training: Offering training in trades and entrepreneurial skills to empower parents and youth for sustainable livelihoods.
- Community Outreach and Support: Building solidarity and addressing pressing needs through initiatives that foster mutual support.
Rooted in Christian values of love, compassion, and empowerment, we envision thriving communities of educated, healthy, and skilled individuals shaping their own futures. Since 2020, we’ve provided scholarships, healthcare access, and vocational training, fostering both individual and communal resilience.
