Process Of Volunteer Coach Approval
- NCSD Director of Activities and Athletics will review applicants and set up interviews for available positions.
- Criminal History Background check will take place.
- Upon background check approval - Volunteer Coaches must also provide a copy of the following documents to Human Resources:
- Iowa BOEE Coaching Certificate
- Child Abuse Mandatory Reporter Certificate
- Transcripts from Coaching Classes
- Driver License
Requirements
- Valid coaching endorsement or coaching authorization issued by the Iowa Board of Educational Examiners.

- Volunteer coaches are not compensated for their work.
