Process Of Volunteer Coach Approval

• NCSD Director of Activities and Athletics will review applicants and set up interviews for available positions.
• Criminal History Background check will take place.
• Upon background check approval - Volunteer Coaches must also provide a copy of the following documents to Human Resources:
  • Iowa BOEE Coaching Certificate
  • Child Abuse Mandatory Reporter Certificate
  • Transcripts from Coaching Classes
  • Driver License

Requirements

• Valid coaching endorsement or coaching authorization issued by the Iowa Board of Educational Examiners.

Benefits

• Volunteer coaches are not compensated for their work.
