• GENERAL VOLUNTEER REQUIREMENTS: Ability to stand for extended periods of time
  
  • Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs.
  • Must be able to comprehend and communicate oral and written instructions in English
  • Have good interpersonal skills and communicate clearly and directly
  • Be mature, dependable, and reliable
  • Maintain a good attitude
  • Be caring, empathetic and non-judgmental
  • Maintain weekly attendances (due to nature of Moffitt’s volunteer services)
• RESTRICTIONS, LIMITS AND BOUNDARIES: The volunteer is required to keep the volunteer’s activities within the defined scope of this Service Guidelines. Must be supervised by the Staff Liaison or designated department staff. All patient-related volunteer activities must be supervised and approved by Moffitt Cancer Center professional staff.
