Volunteer
About the Library
The Genesee District Library is a dynamic county-wide resource that provides free access to information, materials, and services to all members of the community to stimulate ideas, advance knowledge, and enhance the quality of life. We have 19 branches throughout Genesee County.
Volunteers are individuals who provide special services for Genesee District Library without wages or benefits. Volunteers do not take the place of paid staff. The Genesee District Library Volunteer Program offers many opportunities for people to share their skills, talents, knowledge, experience, time, and energy. The types of duties available are as varied and diverse as our volunteers.
