Volunteer as a Youth Mentor!

Description

Be A Mentor is looking for caring, trusted adults to mentor the youth in our community. Young people are more at risk of dropping out of high school, drug use, entering the juvenile justice system now more than ever and we need your help to make a positive change in their lives.

Responsibilities

• Provide support and advocacy in many capacities
• Mentors provide support and advocacy in many capacities from our youth - if you have the passion to walk with our youth towards success, Sign up today!
• This is an in person group mentoring opportunity and you could be matched with a youth here in Willits CA.
• Mentors spend at least 1 hour a week with their mentee for a full calendar year.
• This includes a range of activities that will be in a group setting weekly.

Qualifications

• Passion to work with youth
• Willingness to commit to a full calendar year
• Ability to engage in various activities such as homework help, outdoor play, museum visits, and crafts
