Volunteer as a Meal Delivery Driver in Catonsville!

Description

Meals on Wheels of Central Maryland is looking for volunteers to deliver meals to homebound individuals in their community. Delivering meals to homebound neighbors ensures that our clients can remain aging in place.

Responsibilities

• Pick up meals at the Catonsville United Methodist Church
• Deliver meals to apartment buildings and private residences in the Catonsville area
• Deliver Monday through Friday, starting at 10:30 am
• Routes typically take an hour and a half to complete
• Can help as much as once a week or volunteer as available as a substitute delivery driver

Requirements

Volunteers must be able to drive a vehicle and have access to a reliable car.

Qualifications

Volunteers should be able to commit to delivering meals on a regular basis and be willing to travel throughout the Catonsville area.

Skills

None specifically listed, but strong communication and empathy skills are beneficial.
