Food Service Worker responsible for meal preparation and maintaining a clean, safe kitchen environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook meals following established recipes
- Ensure proper food handling, storage, and presentation
- Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations
- Assist with cleaning and sanitation of kitchen areas
Qualifications & Skills
- Previous cooking experience required
- Knowledge of special diets preferred
- Ability to work independently and follow recipes accurately
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Must be at least 21 years old (due to location inside a jail facility)
- Ability to pass a drug test and background check
- Reliable transportation
Pay & Schedule
- Part-time position working 2-3 days a week from 8am to 2pm
- Starting pay of $16 per hour
