Volleyball Assistant Coach

About the role

Volleyball is an essential part of the physical education program at Salem Middle School. The assistant coach will support the head coach in all aspects of volleyball, including game preparation, team development, and player training.

Responsibilities

• Assist in game planning and strategy discussions
• Work closely with players to improve their skills and performance
• Support the head coach in organizing practices and games
• Attend meetings and trainings related to volleyball coaching

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Education or related field
• Minimum 2 years of coaching experience at the middle school level
• Experience with volleyball coaching techniques and strategies
• Ability to work effectively with students and staff

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks
• Passion for working with young athletes

Skills

• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Knowledge of volleyball rules and regulations

Pay

The salary range for this position is from $35,000 to $40,000 per year.

Schedule
