Volkswagen Certified Service Technician

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair vehicles.
• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency.
• Test drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle systems.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor if any additional service is needed.
• Provide estimates of time needed for additional repairs.
• Ensure work is completed to quality standards and follows manufacturer's warranty specifications.
• Maintain detailed records of all repairs, parts used and services performed.
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience as a ASE or Volkswagen technician.
• Knowledge in all aspects of automotive repair and maintenance.
• Fast, eager learner and team player.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Computer skills and willingness to learn new problems.
• Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.
• Clean driving record & valid driver’s license.

Pay

$30.00 - $45.00 per Flag hour, based on experience.
