Voice instructor needed in Parma, OH

About the role

Taylor Robinson Music is hiring private music instructors, especially for Voice. We do not have a brick-and-mortar studio location in the Parma, OH area, but we have students needing teachers ASAP!

Responsibilities

• Teach voice lessons in the students' homes, in your own home or studio/rehearsal space, or via webcam.
• Set your own schedule and lesson plans.
• Communicate regularly with the office.
• Be organized and punctual for all lessons.

Requirements

• Great with kids and love teaching.
• Must have one of the following:
• A degree in music.
• Enrollment in a music program.
• Professional performing experience.
• Previous teaching experience.

Qualifications

• Experience with independent contractor pay rates.
• Ability to set your own curriculum/lesson plans.
• Knowledge of SEO and marketing for music lessons.

Skills

• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to teach in various settings (in-person, at home, via webcam).
• Organizational and punctuality skills.

Pay

You would be paid on an independent contractor basis between $20-$30 per hour dependent on travel time, your experience/education, and your student retention rate.

COVID-19 Precautions

Though some students are okay to take lessons via webcam, most students are hoping to go to their instructor's studio or have their instructor come to their home. You must wear a mask, sanitize your hands, & practice social distancing when applicable.
