Voice instructor needed in Austin, TX
About the role
Taylor Robinson Music is hiring private music instructors, especially for Voice. We do not have a brick-and-mortar studio location in the Austin, TX area, but we have students needing teachers ASAP!
Responsibilities
- Teach voice lessons in students' homes, your home, or your studio/rehearsal space.
- Set your own schedule and lesson plans.
- Communicate regularly with the office.
- Be organized and punctual for all lessons.
Requirements
- Great with kids and love teaching.
- Must have either a degree in music, enrollment in a music program, professional performing experience, or previous teaching experience.
Qualifications
- Flexible scheduling.
- Ability to teach in-person or via webcam (most students prefer in-person).
- Experience with online platforms for lesson delivery.
Skills
- Excellent communication skills.
- Organizational skills.
- Ability to adapt to different teaching methods.

Pay
You would be paid on an independent contractor basis between $20-$30 per hour dependent on travel time, your experience/education, and your student retention rate.
