The Work The Voice Data Communication Engineer, Journeyman will provide technical direction, engineering expertise, and support across a variety of communication domains, including the planning, designing, development, installation, testing, and maintenance of large communications networks. This entry-level position will allow you to leverage foundational skills while gaining hands-on experience and professional growth within a dynamic environment. Reports to: Program Manager. Working Conditions: Professional office environment, with the ability to work onsite in the main office. Must be physically and mentally able to perform duties extended periods of time. Ability to use a computer and other office productivity tools with sufficient speed to meet the demands of this position. May require lifting and moving hardware equipment weighing up to 50 pounds. Some tasks may involve standing, bending, or working in confined technical spaces. Must be able to establish a productive and professional workspace. Must be able to sit for long periods of time looking at computer screen. May be asked to work a flexible schedule which may include holidays.
