About the role
Since 1952, Beacon Group has been creating opportunities for people with disabilities across Southern Arizona, Phoenix and beyond. As a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit, Beacon serves over 2,000 people with disabilities each year. Beacon provides job training and placement, supported and center-based employment, and day treatment programs to assist nearly two-thirds of working-age people with disabilities who do not have a job. As a Beacon employee, you can be a part of delivering our mission and improving the lives of people with disabilities.
Responsibilities
- Provide top of the line services for the individuals on the team while providing quality service to the customers we provide a variety of services for.
- Daily duties of this position includes working with, training, and supervising a fantastic team of adults with disabilities.
- The services that Beacon provides to our customers is dependent on the location and site needs.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or its equivalent.
- Successfully pass the drug test and background check.
- CPR/First Aid certification, or able to obtain and maintain a CPR/First Aid/AED Certification.
- Fingerprint clearance card, or able to obtain and maintain a fingerprint clearance card.
- Provide proof of good driving.
- Have a valid Arizona Driver's License and pass the Beacon driving test.
- Article IX and Prevention and Support certificate or able to obtain and maintain certification.
- Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
