Vocal Music (part-time)

About the role

Spectrum is a grade 5-12 college-prep charter school located in Elk River, MN since 2006. We have a robust concurrent enrollment program known as C@SH (College at Spectrum High). Over the course of two years, Spectrum students have the opportunity to complete the MN Transfer Curriculum or an AA degree while remaining entirely on the high school campus. Spectrum is leading the way in excellence in education, and is seeking a part-time vocal music teacher who is passionate about making a difference for students. The position may include teaching any grades 5-12 and working with the full-time vocal music teacher in coverage.

Responsibilities

• Teach vocal music to students in grades 5-12
• Work with the full-time vocal music teacher in coverage

Requirements

• Passion for teaching and making a difference for students
• Experience teaching vocal music at the high school level
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Music Education or related field
• Current teaching license in Minnesota
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
