Responsibilities

  • Define and support NVH performance targets based on customer needs and vehicle requirements
  • Develop NVH content plans and collaborate on CAE and hardware strategies
  • Represent NVH considerations in packaging discussions, design reviews, and engineering gate meetings
  • Support vehicle- and bench-level testing to evaluate and predict NVH performance
  • Perform experimental testing such as transfer path analysis to identify and rank noise sources
  • Improve test methods and workflows to increase accuracy and efficiency
  • Document procedures, findings, and analysis in clear technical reports
  • Assess design changes, investigate root causes, and help develop corrective actions
  • Communicate status updates and technical insights in meetings and large design forums

Requirements

  • 4 to 6 years of automotive or related NVH development experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • Strong understanding of acoustics and vibration principles
  • Hands-on experience with vehicle-level NVH development and integration
  • Experience working with vehicles, instrumentation, and data acquisition systems
  • Experience analyzing acoustic and vibration data using tools such as LMS, Test.Lab, or HEAD Acoustics ArtemiS
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong collaboration skills and the ability to advocate for NVH needs in cross-functional settings

Skills
