VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) Engineer with Security Clearance

About the role

Serve as a VCF Engineer to upgrade VCF environment, build out new node management cluster, design, develop, and implement a Gov’t Multi-cloud management platform, support customer cost, operations, and automation goals, optimize network operations across applications and clouds, automate workload balance and placement for the VMware cloud, automate IT infrastructure, streamline DevOps infrastructure resource consumption and delivery, set and verify security configurations in the delivery pipeline and remediate violations, advise Project Managers on technical issues and solutions.

Responsibilities

• Upgrade VCF environment
• Build out new node management cluster
• Design, develop, and implement a Gov’t Multi-cloud management platform
• Support customer cost, operations, and automation goals
• Optimize network operations across applications and clouds
• Automate workload balance and placement for the VMware cloud
• Automate IT infrastructure
• Streamline DevOps infrastructure resource consumption and delivery
• Set and verify security configurations in the delivery pipeline and remediate violations
• Advise Project Managers on technical issues and solutions

Qualifications

• Hands-on VMWare Cloud Foundation (VCF) experience
• VCF 9 NSX VCF STRIKE teams
• VxRail Upgrading environments
• Automation and Orchestration
• Hybrid Cloud Capabilities
• Software Defined Networking (NSX)
• Integrated Platform Experience with the following:
• vMotion
• HCI
• vSAN
• vCenter
• NSX

Required

• Active Top-Secret Security Clearance

Experience

• VMware: 5 years (Preferred)
• VCF engineering: 5 years (Preferred)
• upgrading VCF environments: 3 years (Preferred)
• building out new node management clusters: 3 years (Preferred)
• VCF 9: 3 years (Preferred)
• STRIKE teams: 3 years (Preferred)
• NSX: 5 years (Preferred)
