VCF Engineer with Security Clearance

About the role

Serve as a Splunk Engineer to operate and maintain the Splunk ITSI environment, providing technical expertise for custom glass tables, dashboards, and visualizations. Focus on proactive incident response and risk management through predictive analytics, threshold management, deep-dive correlation, and noise reduction.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high availability and dependability of critical enterprise services
• Leverage predictive analytics and threshold management for proactive incident response
• Map dependencies across the ecosystem for real-time monitoring
• Create policies for noise reduction in the environment
• Integrate KPIs with ITSI features and enrich the environment with machine learning and AIOps
• Conduct adoption assessments and provide guidance on analytical best practices
• Drive business alignment by integrating KPIs with ITSI features
• Lower operational risk and enhance overall service performance

Qualifications

• 8 years of Splunk experience
• Experience supporting and maintaining Splunk environments (5 years preferred)
• Experience with Splunk ITSI (3 years preferred)
• Experience with KPIs (3 years preferred)
• Splunk Core Consultant certification (preferred)
• US Citizenship (required)
