VMI Sales Specialist

About the role

In this role you will visit a pre-determined list of strategic customers daily for Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) of cylinders and hardgoods.

• Ensure accuracy of order, pricing, and processing in JDE system.
• Convert orders into customer Purchase Order format and email to purchasing department when required.
• Help to deliver products to customers as needed.
• Communicate effectively with General Sales Manager, Territory Manager, and distribution supervisors.
• Identify and document Prostar conversion opportunities and meet quarterly with Territory Managers for review.
• Assist Territory Managers with conducting cylinder audits.
• Write credit memos for returned hard goods while taking orders on-site.
• Explore opportunities to convert customers to LG&E Express or EDI payments to reduce transaction costs.
• Be assigned a "small book of business".

Requirements

• High school diploma (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
• Proficiency in Excel, JDE, and computer skills.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

Pay

$30.26 - $44.39 hourly.
