Responsibilities

• Build trusted relationships with physicians, healthcare leaders, and professionals
• Confidently guide referral sources through understanding the prognosis, the value proposition of hospice, and how to have effective conversations for families facing serious illness
• Champion the benefits of the Medicare hospice benefit
• Work alongside clinical partners to ensure patients receive the right care at the right time

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years sales experience or in healthcare services preferred
• Participated in competitive team environment that involved individual accountability and teamwork
• Demonstrated examples of critical thinking and creating solutions
• Past military service a plus
• Experience with volunteer organizations a plus
• Hospice experience preferred but not required
• Evidence of achieving sales goals within the market and/or demonstrating a track record of consistently exceeding corporate goals
• Strong customer service, sense of urgency, and problem-solving skills
• Time management and organizational skills
• Demonstrated knowledge and successful application of a need satisfaction selling process
• Ability to manage a territory, conduct sales calls, and generate sales by building long-term business partnerships
• Strong interpersonal skills within all levels of an organization

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred
