Visualization Lead
About the role
This position requires an active and maintained TS/SCI Federal or DoD security clearance with a Counterintelligence (CI) polygraph. It offers competitive compensation ranging from $113,000.00 to $188,000.00 annually.
Responsibilities
- Produce high fidelity visual products including executive briefings, dashboards, and infographics that translate complex mission, intelligence, and operational data into clear, actionable insights.
- Design and maintain visual standards, reusable templates, and data-driven storytelling frameworks that enhance comprehension, enable comparison of Courses of Action (COAs), and support strategic decision-making.
- Partner closely with analysts, operators, and policy stakeholders to validate data accuracy and develop compelling visual narratives aligned with mission priorities.
- Deliver rapid-turn visual products such as PowerPoint decks, placemats, and executive summaries in support of senior leadership, often under tight deadlines and shifting priorities.
- Ensure all visual outputs comply with IC classification, accessibility (e.g., Section 508), and presentation standards.
- Manage multiple concurrent requests from executive stakeholders, balancing competing priorities while maintaining high quality and attention to detail.
- Translate ambiguous or evolving requirements into structured, visually compelling deliverables that drive clarity and alignment.
Requirements
- An active and maintained TS/SCI Federal or DoD security clearance with a Counterintelligence (CI) polygraph.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visualization, Data Analytics, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Eight (8) or more years of experience in visualization, graphic design, or data storytelling within the IC, DoD, or federal environment.
Qualifications
- A Master’s degree in Graphic Design, Visualization, Data Analytics, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint and the Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop) or equivalent visualization tools.
- Demonstrated ability to synthesize complex, technical, or operational information into clear, executive-level visuals.

The annual salary range for this position is $113,000.00-$188,000.00.
