Your Impact

Responsible for developing category merchandising strategies through cross-functional collaboration that drive productivity and sales.

What You Will Do

• Provide merchandising analysis that supports the development of detailed category plans & strategies for upcoming category space changes and company initiatives.
• Deliver clear, concise space planning design documents that communicate merchandising strategy & category-specific details in a timely manner.
• Exhibit a high degree of proficiency in category planning software, Lowe’s internal systems & processes.
• Create and deliver merchandising plans to support company initiatives and align with documented strategy.
• Serve as a trusted advisor in the delivery of space productivity analysis to support merchandising strategy.
• Develop advanced analysis to create a customer-centric approach to merchandising plans.
• Partner cross-functionally to shape strategic direction using analytical tools; consistently identify category opportunities to optimize productivity.
• Proactively use problem-solving skills to mitigate risk and improve program delivery to stores.
• Lead process improvement efforts and recommend workflow optimizations.
• Collaborate and communicate effectively across all levels of the organization; cultivate vendor partnerships that support corporate strategies.
• Demonstrate thought leadership on evolving concepts and business needs.
• Exhibit team leadership among contract & Lowe’s Bangalore Support Center associates and influence engagement.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Architecture, Interior Design, Retail Management, or related field, or equivalent years of experience in lieu of education requirement, if applicable
• 3 years of experience in retail store planning and design (may include visual merchandising, store planning, planogramming, real estate & facilities planning, or store environment experiences)
