Visual Sales Lead

As the Visual Merchandising Lead for Ballard Designs, you will deliver excellence in guest experience through visual presentation and standards, creating an inspiring shopping experience where guests feel empowered to customize their space. You will promote the Ballard Designs brand at every guest encounter and ensure your team exemplifies brand values, standards, and experiences. Your leadership will manage company programs, drive sales, and set your store to exceed all expectations. This role reports to the Store Leader and is based in Solana Beach, California.

Responsibilities

• Apply a clear understanding of company visual merchandising standards and concepts.
• Collaborate on floor sets, window display planning, and inventory replenishment to create an extraordinary guest experience.
• Act as the sales supervisor, overseeing daily activities to ensure floor coverage and goal awareness as scheduled by management.
• Provide relevant performance feedback to the management team based on observations of the store team.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in the specialty retail industry (not required but preferred).
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays for floor-set execution.
• Ability to lift and mobilize medium to large items, up to 50 lbs.
• Proficiency using Microsoft Word, Excel (ability to maintain complex spreadsheets), Outlook, and POS systems.
• Additional physical requirements may include climbing ladders.

This role is onsite and requires daily presence at our Solana Beach, California, location. Relocation assistance is not available.
