Visual Manager FT

About the role

Arhaus, founded in 1986, creates sustainably sourced, heirloom‑quality furniture and décor. The Visual Manager will uphold the highest visual standards in the home‑furnishings industry, craft the in‑store experience, manage weekly store transfers, and collaborate with management to maintain satisfactory inventory levels in the Akron Showroom.

Responsibilities

• Maintain visual standards and create engaging product displays throughout the showroom.
• Plan and execute weekly store transfers of merchandise.
• Work closely with management to ensure inventory levels remain satisfactory.
• Move furniture independently and safely within the showroom.
• Operate building tools and equipment, including ladders, as needed for visual installations.
• Develop floor plans and visual concepts that reflect the Arhaus brand.

Requirements

• Ability to work independently with little supervision and stay self‑motivated.
• Strong time‑management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
• Effective communication and collaboration with other departments.
• Previous creative or visual merchandising experience (preferred).
• Experience or knowledge in faux finishing and specialty painting.
• Willingness to travel and work extended hours as needed.
• Physical ability to move furniture and use ladders safely.
• Intermediate computer literacy.
• Experience creating floor plans (preferred).
• College degree or relevant experience in merchandising, floral design, graphic design, or set/stage design.

Compensation

Hourly, non‑exempt position. Depending on store location, eligibility for monthly team sales incentives and quarterly bonuses.
