Responsibilities
- Communicate and plan display needs with shop managers in assigned areas
- Recognize needed changes in product placement and/or displays on the sales floor and take action to improve them while communicating with shop managers
- Assess, prioritize, and delegate tasks to team members
- Teach display to Scheels standards to all associates in assigned area
- Researching lifestyle and design trends and making sure designs will appeal to the target audience
- Developing floor plans to make the most of the space available
- Installing and dismantling displays
- Cooking and maintaining body forms throughout the store
- Unloading product from freight, tagging, folding, hanging, and pricing product to be put out on the sales floor
- Restocking product on the sales floor
- Maintaining orderly appearance of personal work space and surrounding areas
- General cleaning and organization around the store and back stock space
- Performing basic math
- Demonstrating strong communication, organization, attention to detail, and problem solving skills
- Being professional in appearance and attitude, contributing to a positive team atmosphere, and treating others with respect and consideration while following Scheels’ policies and procedures
- Having strong initiative and vision for continuous improvement while contributing to a positive team atmosphere
- Working assigned scheduled which may include varied hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays

- Efficiency: demonstrating pride and ownership of their work while meeting expected deadlines
Education & Experience
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
- One to three months related experience and/or training
- Or equivalent combination of education and experience
Physical Requirements/Lifting Requirements
- Must be able to sit, stand, bend at the waist, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push/pull, lift, talk, and hear with or without reasonable accommodation
- Heavy work – Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects
