About the role

The Air Force Civilian Service (AFCS) seeks a Visitor Control Center Technician at the 45th Security Forces Squadron (SRS) at Patrick Space Force Base (SFB) in CoCoa Beach, FL. This position supports the Air Force mission by processing security-related documentation and requests for identification credentials and restricted area badges.

Responsibilities

• Process various security-related documentation and requests for issuance of identification credentials and restricted area badges.
• Support office and security operations by managing automated databases and producing documents and reports.
• Plan and organize work efficiently, follow instructions, and manage multiple ongoing projects.
• Communicate effectively with a diverse group of individuals, demonstrating tact and diplomacy.
• Understand and adhere to the rights of detained individuals and organizational rules regarding the appropriate use of force.

Requirements

This position requires a U.S. citizen and the ability to obtain and maintain an appropriate security clearance. It is a Mission-Essential position that must continue uninterrupted after an emergency and during full resumption of all functions. Knowledge of security processes and procedures, general clerical office functions, and security requirements are essential. Knowledge of automated databases and communication skills are also required.

Pay

Salary Range is $40,331 - $65,373 Annually based on experience.
