Visitor Center Work Study Student - Rotational

About the role

The Visitor Center Work Study Student program pays for two years of tuition at Tillamook Bay Community College while the student is employed and in good standing. Students gain experience in all departments of hospitality operations at the Tillamook Creamery Visitor Center.

Responsibilities

• Support in the Creamery’s daily operations in multiple departments including Ice Cream, Retail, Warehouse, Brand Ambassador, Culinary, and Front of House (FOH) Café.
• Assist guests in a fast-paced environment.
• Foster positive working relationships with all internal and external vendors, customers, coworkers, and management.
• Maintain Tillamook’s Shared Values, creating a world-class guest experience to one million annual visitors.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Food service experience is preferred.
• Courteous, helpful, enthusiastic individuals with extraordinary guest service skills.

Skills

• Communicate effectively.
• Utilize a computer.
• Act as a team player and be able to interact with staff at all levels of the company.
• Possess strong customer service skills.
• Follow written or verbal instruction.
• Read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Compute basic arithmetic.
