Visiting Research Engineer

About the role

Assist Dr. Zanotto's team in research related to Digital Health. This part‑time appointment will support the development and maintenance of AI‑Sole’s data‑processing and web infrastructure as part of an ongoing NIH‑NICHD project on wearable‑based digital health.

Department: Mechanical Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Finalizing and debugging the existing pipeline for computing spatiotemporal gait parameters
• Implementing a dashboard to track file‑processing progress
• Assisting with migration of the AI‑Sole website from Synology to a dedicated hosting platform
• Maintaining website content
• Supporting graduate students with deployment and updates of the clinical dashboard
• Preparing technical documentation for these systems and workflows

Pay

Bi‑weekly base pay range: $1,084.30 (in compliance with the New Jersey Wage Transparency Act).

Schedule
