Visiting Instructor to Public Health
Job Summary
The Department of Public Health at the University of Mississippi is seeking applications for a visiting instructor in public health. This is a 9-month, one year position at the rank of instructor to begin August 2026.
Position Description
Applicants should have an MPH, experience teaching and planning and implementing community engaged public health projects/programming. Applicants will teach face to face and online in the undergraduate public health program.
Minimum Qualifications
- Master’s degree in public health (MPH) by time of employment
- Evidence of successful collaborative professional experience in community engaged public health programming
- Applicants must be authorized to work in the US on a full-time basis without the need for visa sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications
- History of developing and maintaining partnerships with relevant public health agencies and organizations
- Experience teaching at the undergraduate level
