Visiting Instructor, Music Low Brass
About the role
The School of Music is seeking a 9-month non-tenure earning, Visiting Instructor of Music (Low Brass). Position responsibilities include a teaching load equivalent to four 3-credit courses each fall and spring. Courses to be taught may include Applied Tuba, Applied Euphonium, Mixed Chamber Ensemble, Brass Choir, Intro to Music Literature, Music Appreciation, and electives in the candidates area of expertise.
Responsibilities

Requirements
Required Qualifications:
- Earned a masters degree in music performance or equivalent
- Bachelor's degree in music with evidence of substantial professional experience and expertise in Tuba and Euphonium performance at the time of appointment
Preferred Qualifications / Skills:
- Doctorate in music with significant advanced training in Tuba and Euphonium performance
- College teaching experience
Qualifications
At a minimum, applicants must have earned a masters degree in music performance or equivalent, or bachelors degree in music with evidence of substantial professional experience and expertise in Tuba and Euphonium performance at the time of appointment.
Skills
It is preferred that candidates have a doctorate in music with significant advanced training in Tuba and Euphonium performance and college teaching experience.
