Job Information

The Department of Psychology at Florida International University (FIU) is searching for a visiting non-tenure track, full-time, Assistant Teaching Professor position for the bachelor’s program in Psychology. Visiting teaching professor positions are in-unit faculty positions that are benefits eligible. This 12-month 1-year appointment will carry a 4/4/3 teaching load. The department is a leader in pedagogical reform efforts and is focused on improving the quality of undergraduate instruction, particularly in gateway undergraduate courses that affect student success as measured by retention and on-time graduation. Candidates will be expected to perform departmental service as full-time members of the department’s faculty. A Ph.D. in psychology or related discipline is required. The Department is seeking candidates who are willing to teach at least two in-person research methods courses at our MMC campus.
