Visiting Assistant Professor of Statistics (one-year)
About the role
The successful candidate will join a standalone department of five statisticians at Colby College, which offers majors and minors in statistics and data science. The department is part of several interdisciplinary programs, including the Davis Institute for Artificial Intelligence and the newly established McVey Center for Computational and Data Sciences.
Responsibilities
- Teach five courses per year to undergraduate students at all levels
- Contribute to the research life of the department
Requirements
A Master's degree or higher in statistics, biostatistics, or a related field by the time of employment is required.
