Duties and Responsibilities
- Serve as an active member of the Widener Law Commonwealth faculty potentially teaching one Legal Methods course in the Fall semester and one Legal Methods course in the Spring semester.
- Will teach two of the following courses, one in the Fall semester and one in the Spring semester: Contracts, Sales, Evidence, Criminal Procedure, Secured Transactions, Intellectual Property Law, First Amendment or related courses.
- Meet with students during regularly scheduled office hours to provide feedback and guidance on course material.
- May draft and publish scholarship in an area of interest and/or expertise.
Minimum Qualifications
- J.D. degree from an ABA accredited law school and/or PhD or its equivalent from a national or international University.
- Undergraduate degree or its equivalent.
- Law school teaching experience preferred.
- Legal practice experience preferred.
- Published scholarship in a related law field preferred.
Physical Requirements and/or Unusual Hours
All faculty agree to teach courses in both the Day Division and the Evening Division. Evening Division classes are scheduled in the evening between the hours of 5:25 pm and 10:05 pm.
