Visiting Assistant Professor, Analytics

About the role

The position is a one-year Visiting Assistant Professor in the Department of Analytics at the Dolan School of Business, Fairfield University, starting in the Fall 2026 semester.

Responsibilities

• Teach four courses per semester, both day and evening, at both undergraduate and graduate levels.
• Teach a variety of online and in-person courses in Business Analytics.
• Show proficiency and mastery in programming, particularly in data science, analytics, data visualization, AI/ML/Deep Learning.
• Show a strong commitment to teaching, innovation, and excellence in using technology in the classroom and online.
• Teach classes at either the Fairfield or Bridgeport campus.

Requirements

• A Master’s degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field.

Qualifications

Strong candidates will be versatile and able to teach a variety of online and in-person courses in Business Analytics. Demonstrated proficiency and mastery in programming, with expertise in data science, analytics, data visualization, AI/ML/Deep Learning, are especially encouraged.
