Assistant Professor of Business Analytics

About the role

The Department of Finance and Business Analytics in the Neidorff School of Business at Trinity University invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Business Analytics, beginning in the Fall 2027 semester.

Responsibilities

• Conduct high-quality research in business analytics, supply chain, or related fields, that results in publications and other intellectual contributions consistent with the expectations of Neidorff School of Business for an Assistant Professor.
• Teach and design undergraduate business analytics and supply chain courses.
• Teaching load is equivalent to five course sections per academic year (i.e., a 2-3 or 3-2 teaching load).
• Provide service to the University, the Neidorff School of Business, the department, the profession, and the community at a level that is expected for faculty at the same rank.

Qualifications

• Required: Ph.D degree completed or ABD with an expected completion date prior to August 2027 from an AACSB accredited business school in Business Analytics, Information Systems, Operations Management, Supply Chain, or a related field (Engineering is not considered a related field).
• Experience Required: A portfolio of research endeavours and outcomes that emphasizes publications in high-quality, peer-reviewed journals. Teaching experience in undergraduate business analytics or supply chain courses.
• PREFERRED: Professional experience in a related field. Demonstrated record of implementing experiential, case based, collaborative, or other high impact teaching methods. Demonstrated effectiveness in teaching undergraduate business analytics or supply chain courses. Demonstrated commitment to Trinity’s value of intentional inclusion.
