Vision Systems Technician I - Cell Inspection

Responsibilities

• Perform Omron or Keyence Stand-alone Vision Controller by using various inspection logic
• Perform PC based inspection program developed by vendor that using various inspection logic
• Be responsible for incident follow-up, root cause analysis and documentation
• Document control system and equipment configuration changes
• Develop and maintain a good working relationship across all levels in the organization
• Provide enriched feedback to enhance individual performance
• Completes all safety training as required
• Comply with all ELS safety programs, policies, and procedures
• Maintain cleanliness at work-site in accordance with 5S3R Standards
• Follow LGESMI existing cleaning SOP’s during downtime (e.g. line stop, waiting time, etc.)
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• A High School Diploma/GED is required
• A Vocational Certificate or Associates Degree is preferred or equivalent, relevant experience
• Experience: 1 to 3+ years of related machining experience or equivalent, relevant experience
• Skills: Planning and organizational skills, Effective and efficient time management, Strong attention to detail, Creative, innovative, and solutions-oriented, Problem solving and critical thinking skills, Technically proficient and motivated to continuously improve, MS Office Suite

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to properly and regularly utilize the following PPE for a period of up to 12 hours: Safety glasses, Steel-toed shoes, Latex Gloves, Nitrile Gloves, Respirator
• Must be able to do the following repeatedly for a period of up to 12 hours up to 7 days a week: Lift/push/pull up to 50 pounds, Stoop, twist, bend, Reach overhead, Sit and/or stand
