About the Role

Raytheon Intelligence & Space, Vision Systems (RVS) Systems Integration and Test Department is seeking an experienced Senior Test & Integration System Engineer with expertise in airborne electro-optical and infrared (EO/IR) surveillance and targeting sensor systems.

The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued DoD Secret security clearance is required; an active and existing clearance is required after day one.

Responsibilities

• Support integration, verification and validation (IV&V), design verification testing (DVT), and production testing to deliver EO/IR Focal Plane Array Sensor Systems.
• Develop test plans and execute product test activities in support of engineering and production builds.
• Support the Test Architect in the development and execution of the test architecture from bid through production, contribute to the test system design, and collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team.
• Collaborate with operations and manufacturing teams to enable efficient product flow, provide actionable metrics, minimize cycle time, and maximize yield.

Requirements

• Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience with airborne and/or space EO/IR system test, integration, verification, validation testing, or product transition to production.
• Experience in test methodology within sensors, including optical performance, analysis, and test verification for EO/IR Focal Plane Array sensor systems and/or relatable experience in development and/or production programs.

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM).
• Experience developing and/or executing factory test plans, procedures, and equipment to support an EO/IR Focal Plane Array sensor system and ROICs.
• Prior experience with ROIC wafer probing, fabrication, integration, verification, and validation for a complex EO/IR system.
• Ability to communicate with Test Management, IPT leaders, hardware and software development engineers, specialty engineers, program managers, and customers.
• Experience with basic laboratory equipment: power supplies, oscilloscopes, digital voltmeters.

Pay

The salary range for this role is $95,500 – $181,700 USD.
