Responsibilities
- Submit daily production reports on improvements and KPIs which is distributed to production teams and HQSupport production through adjusting parameters daily
- Install vision system machine, make schedule for installation equipment, distribute schedule to production teams, HQ, and vendor
- Inspection machine PM management (inspection machine maintenance/performance management / Vision Spare Parts)
- Inspection equipment improvement activities
- Improve/manage inspection machine accuracy and detection power
- Establishment of inspection information management system
- Expansion of equipment and dissemination/application of new technologies for inspection
- Review/plan of inspection machine model development and model change
- Develop technician skill and improvement plan and implementing
- Establishment and management of inspection machine standards
- Establishment and revision of PFD, BM/PM/PD Manual
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field or equivalent, relevant experience
- Experience 1-3+ years of related experience
- Internship or co-op experience in manufacturing or industrial environment will be considered in lieu of full-time experience
- Work Authorization: Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Skills
- Working knowledge of automated inspection equipment and machine vision systems
- Basic understanding of PLC communication and automated production equipment
- Ability to interpret equipment manuals, SOPs, and work instructions
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving skills
- Ability to document maintenance activities and inspection results accurately
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Ability to maintain focus and attention to detail while monitoring automated equipment in a continuous production environment
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to properly and regularly utilize the following PPE for a period of up to 12 hours: Safety glasses, Steel-toed shoes, Nitrile gloves, Ear protection, Cleanroom suit
- Must be able to perform the following activities repeatedly for periods of up to 12 hours: Lift, push, and pull materials or equipment, Stoop, twist, and bend, Reach overhead, Sit and/or stand for extended periods, Use hands and fingers to operate tools, equipment, and computer systems
Work Environment
- Work may involve handling or working in proximity to hazardous materials and regulated industrial chemicals
- Exposure to chemical vapors, dust, or other controlled substances may occur depending on process assignment
- Strict adherence to company safety policies and OSHA Hazard Communication requirements is mandatory
- Employees must properly wear and maintain assigned personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times within designated areas
