Vision Engagement Lead

Description Job Title: Vision Engagement Lead Ministry/Department: Vision Engagement Reports to: Vision Engagement Director Status: Full-time, ministerial exception Supervisory Role: No Objective This role serves as a leader who helps people move from attending to fully engaging in the mission of The Church of Eleven22® through Vision Engagement (VE) environments, processes and teams. This role partners with campus and central ministries to align all VE efforts to the discipleship journey of discovering and deepening a relationship with Jesus Christ. Key Responsibilities Maintain an authentic and growing walk with Jesus Christ through the ongoing spiritual disciplines of Bible reading, prayer, personal worship, fasting, confession and fellowship Develop and execute creative materials and communication strategies for Vision Engagement events, initiatives, retreats, summits and webinars, ensuring alignment with churchwide vision and messagingHost Vision Summits: Ensure staff, serve staff and hospitality are prepped to lead, care for and cast vision to all those in attendance in alignment with churchwide mission, vision and valuesOwn and manage partnership with Financial Planning Ministry (FPM)Lead campus team in hosting onsite ONE Legacy events twice annually as well as webinars throughout the yearReview and track data between Rock and FPM PortalLead the strategy, development and evaluation of generosity communications across all ministry areas, using data and ministry health metrics to inform adjustmentsCollaborate with ministry partners to celebrate generosity impact through testimonies and metrics via newsletters, digital channels and visual storytellingDraft and send weekly Project Gratitude updates to Campus Pastors Lead, develop and care for Vision Ambassadors and Vision Ambassador Leaders, including onboarding, training, care and ongoing engagementOversee systems, processes and communication rhythms for Vision Ambassadors across platforms (Rock, Mortarstone, SharePoint)Partner with campus teams to execute Vision Ambassador discipleship experiences and events, including twice-annual campus gatheringsContinuously evaluate and innovate connection strategies to deepen engagement and discipleship among Vision AmbassadorsPartner with HR in a process to enhance our generosity culture for new and current staff, keeping in mind that all staff are Vision Ambassadors Participate in and support churchwide "All-Skate" events and seasonal initiatives that advance the vision to be a movement for all people to discover and deepen a relationship with Jesus ChristOther duties as assigned Competencies Model The Church of Eleven22 mission, vision and core valuesAbility to maintain strict confidentialityAbility to adapt to changeStrong proactive communication and relational skills, with the ability to connect with people at varying stages of faith and engagementAbility to recruit, equip and empower volunteers and leadersStrong organizational, systems and follow-through skillsAvailable to travel and work outside daytime business hours to manage eventsIdentify and solve problems that may arise during projectsAdapt and adjust plans as needed to keep projects on trackOrganized and proficient in multi-project management Education and Experience Five years of high-level experience leading peers in a fast-paced environment Bachelor's degree or equivalent ministry experience preferredExperience in Microsoft Office Suite, Mortarstone, Rock, Planning Center, Basecamp and Power BI preferred Position Type/Expected Hours of Work Work Hours Expectations: 40 hours or more . Schedule Expectations: Monday through Friday (hours can vary based on the church's needs and Vision Engagement needs to include working full weekends). The church has several big events (“All-Skates”) throughout the year to help further the mission of Eleven22. These events are mandatory for all staff to be in attendance and may vary, depending on the vision cast for the current year. Our entire staff family is called to action so that we can continue to be a movement for all people to discover and deepen a relationship with Jesus Christ. work environment/PHYSICAL DEMANDS This role works primarily in a professional office environment using standard office equipment, including computers, phones and other office technology. Most of the work is sedentary, but the position may require work in offsite and outdoor environments with exposure to varying weather conditions and wildlife, extended periods of standing and physical activity during events, the ability to lift up to 25 pounds and some travel. Ministerial Exception The ministerial exception furthers the purposes of the Free Exercise and Establishment Clauses of the First Amendment by barring legal claims against church bodies by staff members who perform religious functions. All church pastors are subject to the exception, but a formal ministerial credential is not required. While there is no rigid formula to determine other church staff members that qualify, various factors are considered to determine which staff members are subject to the ministerial exception (please see handbook). Staff members who qualify under the ministerial exception are not covered by federal and state employment and anti-discrimination laws.
