Virtual Tutor

About the role

We are currently seeking passionate and creative teachers to assist with our growing need for virtual tutoring.

Responsibilities

• Provide academic support to child and adolescent school-age patients as they receive treatment in behavioral health facilities.
• Guide students through educational material and ensure their academic success.

Requirements

• Must be state-certified.
• Can assist with K-12 core subjects, with a focus on high school math and science.
• Consistent availability Monday–Friday between 8:00 AM–10:00 PM EST, with a minimum commitment of 12.5 hours per week.
• Possess a reliable internet connection and a computer in your home workspace.

Qualifications

• B.A./B.S. degree from an accredited institution.
• State teaching license.
• Comfortable working with Middle and High school students.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Understanding of subject matter relevant to student needs, especially in upper level Math and Science.
• Reliable internet connection, working computer and distraction-free work space.

Pay

Candidates who meet preferred criteria—such as advanced credentials, specialized experience, or demonstrated expertise—may be eligible for higher compensation where applicable (e.g., NY, IL LBS1, NJ Standard, MN licenses).

Schedule

This is a 100% remote role, with a minimum commitment of 12.5 hours per week and preference given to candidates who can increase availability during our peak season (November–early June).
